When we are going to install new updated themes and plugins. These themes and plugins may be written in higher version of PHP. So that if we want to use these updated themes/plugins we also need to update our sites with higher version of PHP. Without required version of PHP we couldn’t use updated version of themes/plugins. That is the main reason why we need to update our PHP.
How to update PHP Version in cPanel?
01 : log in your cPanel.
02 : scroll to Software section
03 : Click on Select PHP version
04 : Click on Current PHP version drop-down button
05 : Choose your preferred version
Step 06 : Click on set as current
Now your PHP version is update !
You ma select and check-mark on PHP Extensions as per your preferences.
